FIC POSTS ARE PUBLIC

This is a fairly comprehensive list of fanfiction I've written, with summaries, ratings, and pairings included for your convenience. Newer stories are usually on top. I've also tagged the entries by slash, femslash, gen, and het. Some stories are not posted to my mirror FFN account, and some are f-locked for reasons I'm not going to go into, but dropping me a note will usually get you access. PLEASE READ AND COMMENT!

I really love your writing. Especially Ouroboros Ophelia and London Calling. I really liked seven days too (the one inspired by Eternal Sunshine, right?) Anyway I noticed it was locked and I was wondering about its status. Are you editing it or will it forever be private? I just wanted to know whether I'll ever be able to read that wonderful fic again. :) Ok, bye!

Yeah, seven days is urrently being edited. Ideally, it would be made public again soon, but I just haven't been very good about working on it >_> So, it's there, it's a project I'm working on, but that doesn't really say very much when it comes to my work ethics :D Sorry!

Hi!! Do you have an email address I could send an invite to Ochiba.net to? Naturally, the choice to accept the invite is yours, but ochiba-chan has done such a nice job with the fic archive section and wants to see it grow with good writers and you're one of the best writers I know (wow, major run-on sentence there XD).

Plus, I personally think the site has some of the best artists I've seen to. But that's just my opinion, lol. Anyway! Yeah. Email address? pweease? *hugs*

Ah, you are so wonderful *_* I happened to find your LJ when I was talking to a friend and saying I was having trouble locating a good fanfiction read. She led me here, much to my delight.

I've spent some time looking through your hetfic, yaoi, and yuri. It is so very lovely, your writing. I also recognize some of it from fanfiction.net. I'd read Unwrap, Green Apple Elixer, and a few others and thought they were great, but always forgot the author(ess) name and never made the connection that they were from the same person ^^;

If it is alright, may I friend you? I'd like to get to know you better... *hopes reply was proper*

I'm really flattered over the things you said about my writing. I'm pretty much a hack, posting stuff all over in hopes of improving. It's always good to hear positive feedback :)

And of course you may friend me; I've already taken the initiative and added your LJ first.

I plan on reading everything here, even the things with pairings I find completely squick, because I love the way you write. You could write Gaara/cactus and I'd read it.

Oh, thank you so much. That really means a lot to me, since I know how everyone tends to be about their favorite pairings and that I am sometimes seen as cracked in the head for some of the things I write :D And as to the lockdown, only about two or three stories are actually f-locked, and if you want access to any of them, just let me know. MY IRL stuff has a high emo content, I can't be certain whether a casual reader would be willing to be exposed to it or not.

damn, i was reading a few entries back in my journal and there was my quote post dedicated to aftermathematics, with a link to it and all, but when i clicked it, poof. not authorized. i freaked for quite a few minutes before running to this post to see what had happened, ha.

so i guess, because i really love your destination series more than life (along with pretty much everything of yours i've had the opportunity to read), that i want to be friended. i read a few comments in this page and you said your real life is filled with emo -- there's something i can relate to. i probably just complicate life more than is necessary.

Hi! I stumbled on your journal when I was looking through sasunaru recs. I was wondering if you still have your story 'Winter' (when I click on the rec it says: 'No such entry'). And 'Aftermathematics'! I would love to read it (again and again =p), please!

Well, let's see. I stopped writing Winter and deleted the completed chapters from my journal because I have no intention of ever continuing that story, and didn't to be asked about it (I had no idea it had ended up on a rec list, having had only 2 chapters and no real SasuNaru to speak of). Aftermathetics is under friends lock; I can friend your journal if you'd like, and that will give you access.

Thanks for your interest in my fic. Those two you mentioned were some of the very first that I wrote upon joining fandom; I've moved away from them quite a bit since.

I am a moderate AxelRoxas shipper and I think My Girlfriend, Who Lives in Canada is cheerfully cracktastic. Plus, Rai/Olette! I make a killing out of crack pairings, particularly ones featuring Leon. Although recently I've gone over to the dark side and started writing LeonYuffie, which is strange.

I also like how you still call AxelRoxas AxelRoxas, like me, and how you can switch your writing voice from being down-to-earth, intelligent, and wacky in My Girlfriend... to brilliantly creative in Scenes from a Garden. Your titles and summaries are also so interesting. I mean, I'm decent with an occasional instance of glory when I come up with my titles, but yours have got that extra punch to them.

...Also, your titles are intriguing while mine are just confusing at times. Sometimes I don't even know what I was thinking about for Circles in the Dirt... but at least I have a good, solid theme. Which is rapidly being spent as I am running out of colors and rocks to pair up. XDDD

Edit: Curse LJ for not allowing Basic/Plus users to edit their own comments and forcing them to delete one if they made a horrific typo or used the wrong icon!!

(Reply to this) (Thread)

[info]ronsard
2007-11-28 11:48 am UTC (link)
Leon!icon is worth it, don't worry.

Ha, crack pairings! What Leon pairings would sufficiently cover that requirement? I have to admit, the reason I can't wrap my mind around writing the FF characters into KH fic is because I can't seem to let go of their original backstories and personalities. For example, Squall without Rinoa is non-computable in my mind. I don't care if people hate Rinoa for whatever cracked-out reasons, I've shipped them going on eight years now and that won't change. Just as well, I don't use Disney characters either, might as well be an equal-opportunity exclusionist.

There's some aesthetic quality about Axel/Roxas that pleases my innate sense of symmetry. I have nothing against AkuRoku, really (it's only a little retarded), and use it on occasions. For fic titles and summaries, I would say song lyrics are your best bet. Sometimes poetry is fine too, but that's pretentious and only half as emo, therefore not as good. If you need some rock suggestions, I'll dig up my geology textbook. College education should be good for something :|

I wanna re-read Winter, Depth Perception, and London Calling again, because I...really do. Yes.
I know you said that your Naruto WIPs' are all being stopped, but...could you put them back up again? And maybe on the last chapter of each story that you did finish, you could put a really big, really bold notice that tells people it has been discontinued and to please to not ask for any more chapters?
...I know I'm being selfish, sorry. wannareadwannareadwannareadpleasepleasepleaseplease

(Oh, and, uh, I'm pretty sure you being on vacation = not likely that I'm going to get a fast response, and my topic is probably going to get me no response because of what it is and the fact that other people have most likely asked for you to put up the WIPs' before, but...please? With AxelRoxas on top, which makes no sense in this context? *sad and wants to read your fic*)

[Meanwhile, I'll go reread your other fics, because, I mean, it's not as if you don't have plenty of those up right now. And I'm starting to get weirded out by the fact that the two that I really want aren't up. Nergh, stupid brain]

-Jessie
PS This is probably the most random comment I've made all day, but every time I open a new thing for your journal, I look up and gaze adoringly at the little "shake your mermaid blues" that pops up on top as the name~~ I think I'm in love, it's so pretty and lovely~)

The thing is, Winter wasn't just taken down, it was actually *lost* in one of the early revamping jobs I did on this journal. So, no go. And I can't put up London Calling, because no matter what I say there will be people asking for new updates if I have the old chapters up, and I can't stand to deal with that. I'm sorry, too, but these are my stories, and I wish people would respect my wishes.

There is one place where all the old chapters of LC are archived, and that's Ochiba.net. My penname there is equitone. And Depth Perception is still right here, I haven't taken any of it down.

I have finally got up off my ass to tell you that I think you are an astoundingly talented writer, and to thank you for sharing your work. My absolute favorites are Lucky Bachelorette Number Two, Who Died and Made You Lolita, and the Destinations Series (which you seemed to have friends locked recently?). I don't know much about Kindom Hearts, unfortunately, so I have little to no idea if your characterizations are as good in that fandom as in Naruto, but I think the stories are great anyway (and yes, I am enough of a dork to read a fic from an author I like when I know nothing of the fandom...).

Right. So I'm rambling. Sorry about that. What else did I want to say... Oh! I was wondering if you'd mind horribly if I friended you? from your ANs and comments you seem to be a pretty cool person, and I'll never say no to new shiny ronsard fics showing up right on my f-list...

'K. Gonna go before I convince you I'm completely off my rocker. *sheepish grin*

Adi

You're too kind. Of course I wouldn't mind being friended, this journal has always been friending-free, and since you have expressed interest in reading Aftermathematics, I will go ahead and friend your journal so you can have access.

THAT WAS YOU??

Haha, I should have guessed from the wording. What did you do, hack my account? This pains me almost as much as your bad grasp on Engrish grammar? "Rocks", baby?

Did you do the other one too?

Hi, I'd love to read Aftermathematics if I may. I'm only about a quarter through Motions in Stilted Time and I already know I'm going to love it. :)

I'm sorry I didn't get this comment much earlier aslsf;fnnsf. Um, if you're still interested, this journal is and has always been free for friending, and I will friend you back if you wish. Again, sorry for the tardiness, and I'm so happy you like Hot Blooded because it seems like hardly anybody does XD
